那是否可以自己买一小块农场里面有房屋的那种呢

一般公众所声称的PR的身份，分为2类：
1.第一类是PR，即 permanent resident 的简写，属澳大利亚永久居民的身份。
2.第二类是TPR, 即temporary permanent resident 的简写，简称为临居。
如果你是永久居民的身份，你购买任何物业都是没有任何管制的。
但是如果你是临居的身份，那么你买物业便有管制。
请你看清楚护照上所说的签证及类别，如果上面注明是temporary permanent resident （TPR），那么你便有法律上的管制，购买自住房屋需要向Canberra 的Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) 海外投资评审局申请。
