自行车交通事故！寻求帮助

最近收到RAA保险的信，说此交通事故引起的花费，是指修车的花费达到1800多刀~ridiculous~信中没有直说，我估计是想让我陪，但我又没有保险呀，我也没车~
如果那车需要花这么多钱去修，我估计早被撞死了~再说我骑得是自行车，又不是卡车~
我怀疑有人想从中不正当捞钱，我应该怎么办~

我相当同情你的遭遇。维修汽车在澳洲是十分昂贵的。主要是这边的人工比中国贵差不多十倍以上。

在一般的情况下，汽车是需要让自行车的。但是在马路上，自行车也要遵守一般的交通规则。这个情况，你是疏忽大意的。但他也需要负起一部分的责任。

我不知道对方的汽车是什么型号。如果他是欧洲车的话，通常一般维修费都是比较昂贵的。你有以下的权利：-
你可去信到对方的保险公司，要求对方保险公司将这部损毁的汽车去到你指定的维修公司做一个报价，看看这个报价和他的$1800的报价有没大的分别。

你也可以写信给对方，声称当时的情况对方是要负起一部分责任的。因为在一般的情况下，除非对方的车辆已经停定，否则对方应采取适当应对的措施，将车速减慢或刹车，尽量避免这次的碰撞。

因为你牵涉的费用不是太多，因此在经济上找律师处理这件案件不怎么划算。

如果你需要本律师代你处理这件案件的话，本律师的收费是$550元。如果你想委任本律师处理这件案件的话，本律师会跟你详细开会并拿取一点资料，看看对方需要负起多少民事上的责任，然后去信对方，解释有关对方的责任及提议部分的赔偿（或，如理据充足，否认一切民事上的责任）。

驾驶者向 RAA 索赔保险，但是 RAA 心里不爽想向你索赔修理费，没必要雇佣陆师。在court 前你会填写一份 statement,交给法院，法官会 make justice.
