The table compares the proportion of female employees in government and in the position of managers. As can be seen from the table, in these five countries, the
percentage of female employees in companies asmanagers is generally larger than that of the females in the government.
It is clearly revealed in the table that the disparity in each country between the two kinds of figures increases from Ukraine to Canada as listed in the table. In Ukraine,Tobago, and Italy, both the two kinds of employment
rates are close to each other. Tobago and Japan share the same percentage of 32% of female managers whereas there
are only 8% female working in government in Japan,5% less than that of Tobago. The most striking contrast is the lowest percentage of 8% in Japan's government sites and the highest figure of 54% in Canada's managers which has
even exceeded men. Among all these countries, women in Canada account for the highest proporaon no matter in the government or in the companies.
