车牌与Rego牌号不同,怎么回事?

发现其rego牌是棕黄色的，但上面写了是queensland government给的。
关于这点，车主说他的车是从西澳运过来的，在这边换了牌云云，反正我不是很懂。。。

后来车主走了以后，仔细一看，发现其已经过期。车主说rego到6月12号过期，实际是06/12/2010

最后发现一个大问题，就是rego上写的车牌号和其车前后车牌号不同！

请问各位高手，这是怎么回事？！
