MINI在50周年紀念時，推出一款特仕車來紀念John Cooper所打造的賽車，在1959年與1960年獲得F1的世界冠軍，而就在日前MINI原廠以實際發表行動確認了這項傳聞，限量發表一款以市售MINI Cooper JCW特仕車為基礎的限量版，加上經典英國賽車專用的British Racing Green車色以及一些更為獨特的細節作為識別，相形之下，讓已經是特仕版本的MINI Cooper JCW失色不少。

這款250輛限量版車型稱為〝World Championship 50〞（WC50），在MINI位於牛津的廠房量產後，在今年的2009 MINI United也伴隨另外兩款特仕車在英國銀石賽道展出，也就是先前為各位報導過的〝Beatles－Magical Mystery Tour〞以及〝Mayfair and Camden〞兩款特仕車；MINI Cooper JCW〝WC50〞在動力上維持JCW特仕車款的1.6L直四渦輪增壓引擎208hp／26.5kgm的表現，外型上除了有相當經典的深綠色烤漆之外，還有雙氙氣頭燈搭配燻黑反光片、複刻霧燈、賽車線條塗裝、碳纖維氣壩、碳纖維後視鏡、碳纖維後擾流板與17吋黑色鋁圈。

而內裝部分，標配Harman Kardon 6片式CD音響、USB介面、藍牙系統、加熱頭枕、特別車室燈套件、衛星導航、倒車雷達以及皮革手煞車把與多功能方向盤；目前MINI尚未公佈這輛限定車款的售價，一般預估在3萬英鎊（約合新台幣158.4萬）左右，全球250輛的限額有100輛為英國販售，而相當可惜的是目前MINI沒有在歐洲以外市場販售的計劃。
