备考指导
雅思口语的评分主要看四个方面：流利度和连贯性， 语法， 词汇，发音。中国考生雅思口语考试是在20多个主要雅思考试国家里面名列倒数的，其原因主要是拿过一个话题来不知道要说什么，而能说出来的一些东西也没有什么实际的内容。所以从第一个评分标准流利度和连贯度而言就已经很吃亏了。没有了句群，段落，就失去了表现词汇和发音的载体。而在所能说的一些句子和段落中还夹杂着单词的误用， he/she混用以及语法，时态，单复数的错误，因此总体分数会很低。 大家要提高雅思口语就是要从这四个方面着手进行练习。
一、连贯性方面，首先要解决的问题是如何“develop your answer”。
首先要解决的就是要学会扩展答案（develop your answer），使流利度和连贯性有所发挥， 就如写作写提纲一样，口语也要构思你的框架。
例如：
E.g. What is your major? Why did you choose this major? Do you like it and why?
这个问题就可以从以下三方面进行答案的扩充：
1. Interest (internal factor)
2. Expectation from others (external factor)
Being encouraged/motivated by (eg. Parents)
3. Profitability
It is profitable/ promising/ lucrative
这样你就拥有了回答这个问题的框架，能保证你的答案有一定的长度和内容， 形成了句群和段落，然后你就要思考回答内部逻辑和关系的问题，要用一些怎样的连接词使得自己的答案让人听起来顺畅和舒服呢？以下是口语当中使用频率较高的连接词：
Besides, in addition, to begin with, anyway, last but not the least, etc.
二、词汇方面，不要片面追求专业难词，而更应该注意用词的多样性。
词汇的问题也很重要，有很多同学认为口语没考好或者难度大主要是因为自己词汇量不够，还有很多同学力求把自己的答案充满了大词和难词，把答案弄得比较专业。这就失去了口语本身的特点，大家都知道西方人大多数说很简单的英语而回避一些口语里的大词。所以，我们的问题不在于你知道的难词大词有多少，而在于能否用多种方式的简单生活化的口语表达你想表达的概念。例如：你的答案是说你很喜欢自己的专业，那么喜欢能有多少种方式表达呢？
Like, love, prefer, enjoy等这些是比较简单和基础的表达，
例如：
I’m very much into/ I’m crazy about/ I’m fond of/ I’m keen on/ I’m fascinated by/about/ I really dig into
这些表达很生活化，并不是什么特别复杂的结构，能很好的表达很喜欢这样一个概念，而且略微高档一些。
倘若你的答案里要出现5—6个表达喜欢的地方， 那么至少用上3—4种不一样的方式来表达这个概念，那必将使你的答案更具魅力，也展示了你的词汇水平。所以我们看到，片面追求专业难词是不对的，表达同样一个概念的方式的丰富性才是大家应该努力的方向。
三、语法方面，要尽量避免易犯的低级错误。
有了内容和词汇后就要轮到语法了，要尽量避免一些中国学生最容易犯的低级错误：he/she 混用， 时态错误，单复数错误，以及主谓一致错误等。 要避免这些错误不只是要从文字方面弄清楚，更重要的是要通过大量的口语练习把正确的内容练习成为条件反射。中国学生在时态方面要特别注意过去式，因为雅思口语，尤其是第二部分描述很多情况下都要用过去式， 所以要注意答案的时态统一，不能时态混用。 当然，过去完成时和过去完成进行时能得到应用的话也会对你的答案起到加分作用。
比如:
Where is your hometown? / Where do you come from? / Where are you from?
与其说成my hometown is Xin Jiang, 不如说成 I am a Xin Jiang local. I have been living in Xin Jiang for more than 15 years.
四、发音方面，不要吹毛求疵，不要闭门造车
发音的问题是仁者见仁，智者见智的，随着今年口语发音评分方面的改革，发音又一次被广大“烤鸭”重视了起来。我个人的意见是，其实中国人总体的发音比很多雅思口语比我们高的国家的学员要好，只要注意一些经常发错的音就可以了，大原则是你的发音不要影响考官对你答案的理解就可以了，在这方面不要过度吹毛求疵。空有发音，而对一个问题不能快速，准确的回答，那不是本末倒置吗？再就是发音问题千万不要闭门造车， 而要找老师及时进行交流和更正。
下面我们来分享一下完整答案:

I like it primarily/mainly/chiefly/principally because I’m very much into the stuff taught in class. Besides/Plus my parents encourage me to study it hard. 可以看到这个答案就符合了内容充实性和连贯性，词汇的丰富性， 语法的正确性等雅思评分必备条件。至于发音和是否流利要看每一位学员投入练习的力度有多大了。
五、如何利用叶毅斌口语预测进行准备
口语预测的用处很大，因为雅思口语考试话题的重复率很高，对于一般学生来讲考口语最忌讳的就是在考场上第一次听到要回答的问题， 在考场上现场组织答案。要多涉猎每一部分考试能够考到的话题，认真思考如果你被问到这样的题目应当从哪些方面应答，并进行练习。对于重复率较高的话题更要进行反复的口语练习，直到非常熟练为止。 口语的练习是很随机的， 只要有几分钟时间就可以思考一道题，练习一道题，贵在坚持。
例如：
如果你被问道的问题是describe your hometown， 那么就算你第一次听到这个题，由于比较贴近生活可能你还能现场反应和组织答案。但如果题目换成了describe a law, 如果平时没有思考过这个问题的答题思路，那么现场组织答案会非常被动， 发挥不好而不会得到很好的分数。
第二部分描述要特别注意移花接木， 也就是用一个准备好的核心段落来演绎很多不同的话题。大家都知道雅思三部分的问题加起来可能有200-300道，而且问法还很不同。如果你每道题都要想出一个不同的答案的话那你要准备和练习的段落就太多了，这是不现实的。 在日常的教学工作中，想用1-2个核心故事来套所有的问题的想法也是达不到的。所以要特别注意归类总结，哪些问题可以用到同一核心段落，哪些要单独准备。这样你需要准备的段落可能就只有20个左右了。 想想看，熟练脱口而出20个段落应该不难吧，但是上百个就不太可能了。
例如：
你准备好了一个描述一个老人的段落，那么很多话题都可以套用了：你最尊敬的人， 对你影响最深的人， 一个成功的人，一张照片（可以是你和他一起照的）， 一个礼物等都可以加以灵活的套用。但像describe a law这样的话题你就必须要单独准备了，套用老人显然不合适。
第三部分的话题与第二部分有紧密联系，发散性和议论性都很大。建议大家要多看机经里哪一类的描述话题能引出怎样的一些议论性话题，多思考，只要能说出自己的观点， 不要愣住不知所措就可以了。
Practice makes perfect! 口语重在练习， 只要能持之以恒，就能取得较大的进步，对雅思整体分数的提高会有出其不意的效果。特别是最近一段时间以来 ,雅思口语题目和写作题目经常互相借用,拼凑组合,特别是新的写作题目经常取自于口语话题,这其实是好现象,说明我们的口语和写作是可以一起准备的,不要把他们孤立开来,口语和写作答案和范文是可以互相套用的.
